Phacogen origins in Pharmacogenomics, which means to apply specialized research and knowledge in human genome that assists doctors in diagnosing and providing treatment for each individual accurately and effectively.
Phacolab is founded by Phacogen JSC. Cao Tien Dung, CEO Tran Quoc Quan, PhD. Duong Ngoc Cuong and PhD. Le Thi Hoi – Vietnam’s leading experts who are qualified by world’s top technology group: Thermo Fisher, Beckman Coulter, illumina with over 20 years of experience in transferring of Genetic, Cellular, Immune technology solutions and the construction of modern testing centers for Hospitals, Universities and Medical Centers in Vietnam. Advanced testing techniques that are considered proud milestones of the medical industry include the NIPT test for non-invasive prenatal diagnosis, PGT-A/M for pre-implantation embryo screening, and Sperm fragmentation testing improves treatment effectiveness for infertile patients, genetic screening tests to assess risk and treatment for breast cancer patients, leukemia patients, and whole-sequencing projects Vietnamese genomes all have the imprint of experts from Phacogen Group.
Phacolab has been invested in new generation genetic testing systems along with immune and cell testing systems from the world's leading scientific service brands such as Thermo Fisher, illumina, and Beckman Coulter. At the same time, Phacolab Diagnostic Company has been evaluated and granted ISO 15189 certification for medical testing, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certification.
With a scale of up to 1000m² with a team of PhDs and specialized Masters with years of experience studying and working abroad, Phacolab always strengthens its pioneering position in training and transferring testing technology. We have been collaborating with Hanoi Medical University, Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City and research training facilities to deploy training courses to improve capacity for testing technicians and para-clinical doctors of specialized clinics and hospitals throughout the country to help medical facilities have the opportunity to access the most advanced and modern testing technologies to improve medical examination and treatment capacity.
